Hey.
So I used to play this game called World of Warcraft.. I quit playing, but checked their database the odd time to see how long it had been since I played, see what old friends were up to etc.. Well last night I logged on an saw that my characters had been active yesterday! REMINDER: I have not logged on in months. Anyways, so I downloaded a trial account of WoW, found out that in fact they were active, and it wasn't just a glitch from the database. So in other words.. someone had hacked my account while I was away from the game. So after wondering how someone hacked into my account considering I have very strong passwords, I spent most of last night awake wondering if the e-mail address associated with that account, and all my personal information that I provided when I signed up for WoW could give them anything on me.. or if I should change my passwords, scrap that e-mail and make a long list to companies changing my e-mail. So I phoned Blizzard (company that created WoW), and explained everything that went on, and who I was, and verified a bunch of stuff, then got the account under my control. I figure I spent around 2500 hours, most likely more playing the game, so If I lend my account to someone to use - fine, but I certainly won't have some fool steal my stuff, and use it for their own gain - they can burn in hell and I'll watch them die slowly for all I care. So I decided to get get the entire account BANNED permanently, so that this can never happen again. Whoever it was that took my account over had my name, address, phone number, and other stuff on me, and thank god I wasnt using a credit card to pay for the game or else they would have scooped that too! So It's 1:10, about 50 minutes until the WoW servers are back on, and I'm excited about finishing this once and for all. I just wanted to leave the game in peace, and log on the wow database the odd time to see how many months I had gone without playing, look at a couple statistics and achievements that I had done during my years of playing... so it comes down that I can't even do that. My account will be banned, then nobody can get into it, and use my stuff, or get access to my personal info. This winter has been rough enough, the last thing I need to worry about is some pedophile in a jail somewhere using my stuff, or some 12 year old hacker stealing my shit. I knew that when I quit WoW a few months ago that I wouldn't come back, I had already set my mental state to accepting that fact, but now that everything will be locked permanently, there's an extra peace of mind. It's said that 40% of players that play that game are addicted, and having a base of over 11.5 million, you can do the math.
Tonight is martial arts, and I'm supposed to do a workout before hand, but seeing as I barely slept last night, I'm not sure how either of these things will turn out. Im about to make some lunch and then attempt a workout. Tonight I'm not sure what I'll do besides going to bed early after class. It's been a long day so far and it's only coming up on 1:30.

Million Dollar Mondays
Didn't win the lottery this week, most likely due to the fact that I don't buy tickets haha.
Anyways, so it's a snowy Monday, on/off all day now. Just finished some stew, a beer, and some ice cream for lunch.
To my surprise, Megavideo and Megaupload are the same freakin site! I was downloading an episode and then noticed the bloody link to WATCH it on the other site! A mixture of joy and frustation has come over me now, on the good note: I can download all my missing episodes of Big Bang Theory, however, my internet is going the way of the dodo in just over 48 hours.. I guess that's the ultimate test of speed though for the new connection... we'll see.
In other news, progress has been made working out, so I'm content with that.
Fixed my overheating laptop problem that nobody else is probably aware of... (Thank-you compressed air in a can) I guess to all the non-computer fiends it would be equivelant to a blocked artery in the heart.
Got the latest news on Windows 7, basically it's a waste unless you're a business guru. Good news to me, Vista has been working splendidly for the last year and a bit. Can't say I'm a fan of redownloading 500MB of drivers and crap from Windows Update when I re-format, but you can't win 'em all.
What's on the agenda for tonight? Aside from downloading as many episodes of Big Bang Theory as I can and burning them to DVD... I'm thinking maybe a few beer whilst watching them, and probably a burger to go with it... Now that I think of it, probably should do some pushups and crunches before aforementioned beer... probably include another punching bag workout - the bruises have healed from a couple days ago. Still working on my form for the left roundhouse, and fine-tuning a couple other things.
Ya so it turns out Tiger Woods is a cheating bastard... haha I pay next-to-no-attention to celebrity crap, but seeing someone like that go down brings me joy... From what I've gathered, his wife should have just taken his head off with a golf club... a nice swing across the back of the neck, around the center of the shoulder blades maybe for some long-lasting , hopefully permanent, injury. I don't understand why people that have that kind of talent, unlimited funds, and world fame still have to succomb to the actions of a high school jock... maybe he was watching too much Two and A Half Men re-runs and got some ideas... Some people might think Im a bit extreme.. but honestly you can have everything he had.. turn out to be unfaithful, and to me you may as well be less than dirt.. too bad you can't exile people anymore... or fight to the death in a ring of fire... Random Fact: In Calgary, back a couple hundred years ago, if you got exiled, or banned from the city, they would give you a 6-shot revolver and a horse. As Van Wilder would say - Write that down!
Martial arts class tomorrow! Excited about that. Kata night, which is good, need to focus on them for the next belt. After that is Sparring night on Thursday which I'm looking forward too also.. Hopefully this time I'll remember my weights.
So it turns out this winter I'll be snow-shoeing, using an exercise bike at home, and cross-country skiing to build up my cardio over the winter.. not sure if I mentioned that in the last blog,.. but either way I'm looking forward to it. Although I must admit doing nothing some days does have it's appeal... I can't say the benefits are worth it though.
What else is going on... downloading a file for a Half-Life 2 mod of Goldeneye 007 (From N64), kind-of aggravating.. I had it working a couple years ago, and I installed everything in seconds... then they changed some stuff and made their product better, but it's a major pain in the ass to get it to work now because I'm doing it illegally (a.k.a. I dont own any Half Life 2 games... so getting files makes it kinda hard). What sparked this sudden urge to play a game from 1996? Well family was up, and bored, because that's kinda the way it works around here, and we decided to wipe the dust (literally) off the N64 and play a few rounds of Goldeneye. It was fun for a bit, but unfortunately I spent way too much time as a kid playing that game and so I didn't have any competition. I dialed it down though so everyone had fun. I guess that's all for now... Internet gets the AXE in a couple days, but I shall return with more ramblings...rest assured.

First And Foremost
Alright, not really sure what people blog about... so I'll just go with whatever comes to mind...
1. Weather turned cold pretty fast.. finally seeing snow though... about time for DECEMBER.
2. Training at a new level, harder, faster, more frequently than ever before, so I'm pumped about that. Tonight's workout went well, in case you were wondering... if not.. oh well.
3. Not to happy with the Condition Zero crowd at the moment (Variant of Counter-Strike, for all you non-gamers. If you don't know what CS is... think of a first person shooter, online.), too many hackers and exploiters... just angers me.. if you can't play fair, don't play at all IMO.
4. On the upside, started using the punching bag again, been a while, but glad to getting back into it.
5. After 3 months I got a haircut the other day, surprising how many people noticed.. haha actually I'm not.. even the blind could tell that I wasn't carrying 1/2 my weight in hair. For once though, the hairdresser didn't say 'You have thick hair.' which was good, after 20 years that gets pretty damn annoying... it's very tempting to say 'The sun is hot, you know... all the time!', but I restrain myself.
6. Tomorrow... not sure what I'll do.. most likely workout again, depending on the DOMS, (Delayed Onset Muscle Soreness) for those not familiar with fitness acronyms. Maybe walk to the sportsplex? Its about 8km there and back.. not bad eh?
7. I guess this kinda looks like a shopping list, with the numbers and stuff, but I guess that's just the way I work, everything has a place.
8. Started into a tub of Turtles ice cream.. post workout.. I know it's not a protein-rich nutrifying delicacy.. but my metabolism says 'Go ahead!' Whatever, it was good, really good. Gauranteed I'll burn off whatever calories I consumed tomorrow or the next day with ease...
9. Big Bang Theory.. new episode December 7th! I love that show.. probably more than the turtles ice cream... or pasta.. .or hot chocolate... anyways ya it's going to be a good episode.
10. Internet's coming down on the 9th for a bit, looking forward to that as much as a forced castration.. (never had the experience, but it sounds like a living hell).
11. Greg Graffin (Vocalist/Songwriter - Bad Religion) is coming out with a new book in 2010, pretty pumped about that.
I guess that's all for now.. perhaps I'll end this with a quote:
'Learn to endure, or hire a bodyguard' - Bruce Lee (on combat/sparring)
