Million Dollar Mondays

Didn't win the lottery this week, most likely due to the fact that I don't buy tickets haha.
Anyways, so it's a snowy Monday, on/off all day now. Just finished some stew, a beer, and some ice cream for lunch.
To my surprise, Megavideo and Megaupload are the same freakin site! I was downloading an episode and then noticed the bloody link to WATCH it on the other site! A mixture of joy and frustation has come over me now, on the good note: I can download all my missing episodes of Big Bang Theory, however, my internet is going the way of the dodo in just over 48 hours.. I guess that's the ultimate test of speed though for the new connection... we'll see.
In other news, progress has been made working out, so I'm content with that.
Fixed my overheating laptop problem that nobody else is probably aware of... (Thank-you compressed air in a can) I guess to all the non-computer fiends it would be equivelant to a blocked artery in the heart.
Got the latest news on Windows 7, basically it's a waste unless you're a business guru. Good news to me, Vista has been working splendidly for the last year and a bit. Can't say I'm a fan of redownloading 500MB of drivers and crap from Windows Update when I re-format, but you can't win 'em all.
What's on the agenda for tonight? Aside from downloading as many episodes of Big Bang Theory as I can and burning them to DVD... I'm thinking maybe a few beer whilst watching them, and probably a burger to go with it... Now that I think of it, probably should do some pushups and crunches before aforementioned beer... probably include another punching bag workout - the bruises have healed from a couple days ago. Still working on my form for the left roundhouse, and fine-tuning a couple other things.
Ya so it turns out Tiger Woods is a cheating bastard... haha I pay next-to-no-attention to celebrity crap, but seeing someone like that go down brings me joy... From what I've gathered, his wife should have just taken his head off with a golf club... a nice swing across the back of the neck, around the center of the shoulder blades maybe for some long-lasting , hopefully permanent, injury. I don't understand why people that have that kind of talent, unlimited funds, and world fame still have to succomb to the actions of a high school jock... maybe he was watching too much Two and A Half Men re-runs and got some ideas... Some people might think Im a bit extreme.. but honestly you can have everything he had.. turn out to be unfaithful, and to me you may as well be less than dirt.. too bad you can't exile people anymore... or fight to the death in a ring of fire... Random Fact: In Calgary, back a couple hundred years ago, if you got exiled, or banned from the city, they would give you a 6-shot revolver and a horse. As Van Wilder would say - Write that down!
Martial arts class tomorrow! Excited about that. Kata night, which is good, need to focus on them for the next belt. After that is Sparring night on Thursday which I'm looking forward too also.. Hopefully this time I'll remember my weights.
So it turns out this winter I'll be snow-shoeing, using an exercise bike at home, and cross-country skiing to build up my cardio over the winter.. not sure if I mentioned that in the last blog,.. but either way I'm looking forward to it. Although I must admit doing nothing some days does have it's appeal... I can't say the benefits are worth it though.
What else is going on... downloading a file for a Half-Life 2 mod of Goldeneye 007 (From N64), kind-of aggravating.. I had it working a couple years ago, and I installed everything in seconds... then they changed some stuff and made their product better, but it's a major pain in the ass to get it to work now because I'm doing it illegally (a.k.a. I dont own any Half Life 2 games... so getting files makes it kinda hard). What sparked this sudden urge to play a game from 1996? Well family was up, and bored, because that's kinda the way it works around here, and we decided to wipe the dust (literally) off the N64 and play a few rounds of Goldeneye. It was fun for a bit, but unfortunately I spent way too much time as a kid playing that game and so I didn't have any competition. I dialed it down though so everyone had fun. I guess that's all for now... Internet gets the AXE in a couple days, but I shall return with more ramblings...rest assured.
